New ‘Green Lantern’ Clip: Tomar-Re Welcomes Hal Jordan to Oa

The date for Green Lantern’s theatrical release is near. And to pump up our excitement level another notch or two, Warner Bros. Pictures released a minute long clip featuring the world of Oa and Hal Jordan’s first flight as a  member of the Green Lantern Corps. Thanks to Yahoo Movies, you can check out the clip below:

Directed by Martin Campbell, Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Geoffrey Rush, Michael Clark Duncan, Peter Sarsgaard, and Angela Bassett.

This film hits theaters June 17th, 2011.
