Lady Gaga… she’s the hottest thing in the entertainment business currently. Love her or hate her she knows how to put on a damn good show. And from news revealed yesterday, Gaga will spread her stardom even further. According to Will Smith, the pop songstress will make an appearance in Men in Black 3.
Smith let the beans spill while shooting on set in Rio with younger Agent K, played by Josh Brolin. Here’s what he had to say: ”We have a couple of celebrity cameos,” Smith said, “but I think I cannot reveal who they are. We must keep as a surprise that Lady Gaga appears.” – Moviehole.
One can only assume that Gaga will make an appearance as a hidden alien on earth. Given her recent set designs and costumes for her Born This Way album, including Gaga as a cameo seems like a no-brainer. She enjoys dressing up in latex, adding prosthetics to her face and shoulders, giving her an animalistic look, and popping out of eggs.
The producers of the film have asked Smith not to reveal anymore cameos. I would’ve thought that Gaga would be the biggest cameo they have, if not it’ll be interesting to see who director Barry Sonnenfeld has in store. Check out Michael Jackson’s cameo from Men in Black 2.
In case you didn’t know, this isn’t Gaga’s first time in the acting world. Before making it big, dying her hair platinum blonde and playing to sold out concerts, Gaga, back then known as Stephanie Joanne Angelina Germanotta, she was an extra on several shows and also had a chance to be participant on the MTV show, Boiling Points. There’s been talk of Gaga possibly wanting to take her career to the big screen. Could this be her way in? Either way her cameo in Men in Black 3 should be fabulous!
