On July 20th, fans everywhere will be able to watch what’s to be the final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman. He’s taking things to the next level with higher stakes, new characters, new bat mobiles, and a newly designed bat-suit. Nolan and the team are leaving nothing behind for the The Dark Knight Rises.
The other day, Entertainment Weekly released the cover of their upcoming issue, which features Batman and a look at the new bat suit. Take a look below:
Not bad, right? Personally, I believe this is one of the most intricate designs for the suit. No bat nipples, and I love how you can see the armor underneath the several layers of kevlar. Also, instead of protruding off the chest, check out how the bat symbol sinks into the top of his chest. Foreshadowing?
Along with the new cover, the entertainment magazine also released several new photos, of Bane, Batman and Jim Gordon. Directed by Christopher Nolan, The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple and Josh Pence.
