Ever since news broke out that the Justice League movie is back on at Warner Bros. Pictures, news and details have been popping up all day. The latest news is that Zack Snyder’s Superman: Man of Steel and Christopher Nolan’s Batman will not tie into the Justice League film. This news came from the man himself, Zack Snyder:
It doesn’t [connect],” Snyder told the site on the red carpet for the London premiere of Sucker Punch, “Like what Chris Nolan is doing and what I’m doing with ‘Superman’, what they’ll do with ‘Justice League’ will be it’s own thing with its own Batman and own Superman. We’ll be over here with our movie and they’ll kinda get to do it twice, which is kind of cool.
This news is interesting to say the least. So there it is people we will receive another new Batman and Superman. Also you have to take into consideration that after Nolan’s Dark Knight Rises, the Batman films will receive another reboot with Nolan as producer instead of director. This news was confirmed yesterday. Also take note that Green Lantern was not mentioned. Could Ryan Reynolds be locked in as Green Lantern?
I’m not too sure what’s going on with Warner Bros. rebooting all these films. Why not just keep the stories going? Nolan’s Batman films could definitely go a couple more miles, bring in Harley Quinn to continue the Joker’s work. Also, why can’t WB do what Marvel is doing with The Avengers. Give each member of the Justice League their own film, and then reunite them for the Justice League movie. I’m done ranting.
What are you opinions about all this?
