With yesterday’s release of new posters for The Dark Knight Rises, this summer’s Batman-fever is really starting to take off. At just under two months before its July 20th release date, Batman fans can keep rejoicing; the first two TV spots for the epic conclusion of the Christopher Nolan directed trilogy have hit the net. Although they’re roughly 30 seconds each, both TV spots have mostly new footage and really gets us excited for the film. Check them out below.
“I need you to get me back in the game”
The first TV spot has new dialogue from the villain Bane (Tom Hardy). For those of you who were ever doubtful that you would be able to understand him, you can rest easy. Also featured in the spot, besides Batman (Christian Bale), is John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman) and Alfred (Michael Caine).
“Who are you pretending to be?”
The second TV spot is more focused on Catwoman AKA Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) and her “relationship” with Bruce Wayne.
What are you thinking?
I‘m not going to lie. I am one of the biggest Batman fans I know. So naturally, I’ve seen the TV spots at least 15 times each. I am so ready for July 20th to get here! What do you think about the TV spots? Are you excited about The Dark Knight Rises? As usual, let us know what you think in the comments below.
