There’s a lot going on in Hollywood next year. Sure several franchises have come to an end — Christopher Nolan’s Batman films will no longer dominate the box office, and we no longer have to see sparkling vampires on our TV screens — but with every death come something new and glorious. And there’s a whole lot going on in the land of franchises, sequels, prequels, and trilogies that’ll be sure to make a lot of fans happy.
Getting ready for 2013, production is currently in session for Kick-Ass: Balls to the Wall, Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and The Hangover Part 3. What better way to celebrate their progress than several on set photos!
‘Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall’!
Director Jeff Wadlow has taken tweeting on set to a whole ‘nother level. In his quest to entice fans through the social media giant Twitter, Wadlow has released a photo a day from the Kick-Ass 2 set since the start of production. Now that’s dedication!
About a week ago, Wadlow tweeted a picture of Hit-Girl’s unpainted ride — a red Ducati. He then challenged fans to guess what color it’d be. If you guessed purple, you guessed right! Wadlow’s latest tweet reveals Hit-Girl’s new vehicle. Not only is it purple, but it also comes with the initials “H.G.” — a warning to her enemies. Hit-Girl (Chloe Moretz) kicking ass on a freshly painted Ducati… sounds like someone’s back in business!

Brace Yourself for the Wolf Pack
The guys are back for a third installment! Only difference is that Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, and Ed Helms will each come with a wife in hand, played by Gillian Vigman, Jamie Chung, and Sacha Barrese. There’s also one other difference: Stu’s removed his Mike Tyson face tattoo! The Hangover Part 3 won’t be the same without it!
Universal’s going in a much different route this time. While the last two installments focused the guys’ pre-wedding adventures, Part 3 will pickup months after the I dos:
This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.
The Hangover Part 3 slams into theaters May 24th, 2013.
First Glimpse At the ‘Catching Fire’ Set
The cast and crew of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire are currently busy filming in Atlanta, GA. The first on set photos reveal Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Sam Claflin getting ready to film. Nothing too exciting here, but perhaps Katniss and Peeta, who are in black spandex, are in training. This is our first look at Sam Claflin since it was first announced he’d be our trident wielding tribute. Looks like he’s put on some muscle since Snow White and the Huntsman.
