The Guardians Are Coming!
Forget Hollywood’s usual batch of holiday films, here comes Rise of the Guardians! DreamWork’s Animations released a new poster for their anticipated animated feature which brings together the best childhood heroes — Santa Clause, The Easter Bunny, The Tooth Fairy, Sandman, and Jack Frost! The last batch of photos we received for Rise of the Guardians came in the form of character posters, but this time around, DreamWorks combined all five characters in one place, with the big guy in the center. The Avengers may be the team on everyone’s mind, but watch out because there’s a new team coming along. Their weapon of choice? Magic.
Synopsis:
When an evil spirit called Pitch becomes bent upon taking over the world by inspiring fear in the hearts of kids everywhere, a group of our greatest heroes, Santa (Alec Baldwin), the Easter Bunny (Hugh Jackman), the Tooth Fairy (Isla Fisher) and Jack Frost (Chris Pine), band together for the first time, determined to stand in Pitch’s way.
Get Familiar with the ‘Argo’ Crew
“The Mission Was a Movie”, that’s the tagline that marks one of three new character posters for Argo. Ben Affleck has proven himself a noteworthy director. He’s more than just an actor who wants to be director. The man has mastered the craft in his last two previous efforts – Gone Baby Gone and The Town — and looks to make his third directorial knock out.
Leading the pack, CIA Operative Tony Mendez (Affleck) is on a mission to retrieve American embassy workers from a Canadian safehouse in Iran; however, he’ll need the help of film producer Lester Siegel (Alan Arkin) and costumer John Chambers (John Goodman) as he puts his plan of filming the fake science-fiction movie Argo into action. Essentially, Argo is the film within the film.
Directed by Ben Affleck and penned by Chris Terrio, Argo hits theaters October 12th, 2012. Check out the three character posters below:

Tom Hooper’s ‘Les Miserables’ Goes Classic
A new poster for Tom Hooper’s Les Miserables made its way around the web today. Paying his dues to the great novel and musical, Hooper brings to life the classic Les Mis image associated with Victor Hugo’s powerful story. The first poster expresses the director’s appreciation and respect for the rich history, as a young, blue-eyed Cosette, played by Isabelle Allen, graces the film’s first poster. Separated from her mother, Fantine (Anne Hathaway), Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman) raises the young Cosette after the Thenardiers (Helena Bonham Carter & Sacha Baron Cohen) mistreat her. An older Cosette, played by Amanda Seyfried, falls in love with Marius (Eddie Redmayne). As you can tell, her personal story is complex, but she’s definitely one of Hugo’s best characters.
Directed by Tom Hooper, Les Miserables slams into theater December 25th, 2012.
