Lady Gaga, the hardest working woman in the music business, is now making her big break in the film world. This isn’t some new fad as the multi-platinum selling artists has expressed interest in acting on several occasions. She engulfs herself in each character she portrays whether in music videos or on stage.  Do I sound like a fan yet? It was just a matter of time before we’d see her name associated with Hollywood. And now the time has come as she graces a brand new character poster as “La Chameleon” in Robert Rodriguez’s Machete Kills.

Gaga, Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson & Sofia Vergara!?!

With a cast list that also includes Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson, Zoe Saldana (Avatar, Colombiana), Sofia Vergara (Modern Family) and Michelle Rodriguez (Avatar, Battle: Los Angeles), who knows what we might be stepping into. I mean in retrospect that cast list sounds like a bundle of fun, and possibly a bundle of mess. Machete Kills is the sequel to Rodriguez’s 2010 film Machete, certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a 73% rating from the critics. Danny Trejo returns as the titular character, but Jessica Alba and Robert De Niro will not return.

The poster is really cool, but I’m not too fond of Gaga with the wolf. Sure we’ve seen her in a full on meat dress accompanied with a meat purse and meat heals, not to mention the polar bear get up in the Bad Romance video, but this is Rodriguez and his designer’s choice of wear, not Gaga’s.
