Also, he composed themes for a lot more movies than the other. Moreover, some of the names are top ten in my list: Schindler's List, Star Wars, E.T. and Amistad (although he didn't receive an award for that one). I guess I'm gonna have to go with age/ experience and notoriety. Hence forth, I choose John Williams.  Also, I'm not sure if the studio made the right choise to give the job to Hans Zimmer. Sure, he is know for some of the most recent films (1990's all the way to the present), but as to the clasics and/ or remakes... Please, Hans Zimmer don´t change the THEME for SUPERMAN, just this, PLEEEEEASE. Nobody can change themes like STAR WARS, STAR TREK, JAWS, INDIANA, HARRY POTTER, RAMBO, ET, CONAN, IMPOSSIBLE MISSION.
