Three time Academy Award nominee, Amy Adams has been cast as Lois Lane in Zack Snyder’s Superman: Man of Steel. Here’s what director Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen, Sucker Punch) had to say about Adams:
“There was a big, giant search for Lois,” Snyder said. “For us it was a big thing and obviously a really important role. We did a lot of auditioning but we had this meeting with Amy Adams and after that I just felt she was perfect for it.”- Zack Snyder
For a while people weren’t even sure if Lois Lane was going to be in the reboot, but now that this news has been released there’s no one better to play Superman’s love interest. Amy Adams is smart, funny, and classy. Plus she screams Lois Lane. Perfect casting on Snyder’s and Warner Bros. part.
Amy Adams’ past roles include Charlene in The Fighter, Giselle in Enchanted, and Amelia Earheart in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.
