Check Out the New Posters for ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’

Today Marvel and Paramount Pictures released several new character posters for Captain America: The First Avenger starring Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Hugo Weaving, Sebastian Stan, Toby Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, Dominic Cooper, Tommy Lee Jones, and Stanley Tucci.

Who in the heck approved these posters? This is beyond disappointing. I mean I was expecting so much more, especially after that amazing poster they first released of Chris Evans as Captain America–the one with all the exploding material matter around him. These posters are about eight notches down from that one. They wouldn’t be so bad if the background was somewhat appealing. I mean it kind of looks like these characters were cut out, glued, and slapped on. Wait a minute, diid the same guy who designed the posters for X-men: First Class design these?
