Upon last night’s viewing I’ve come to the result that the only reason anyone should be watching the MTV Movie Awards is for new trailer and footage? . In what world does Justin Bieber beat out Natalie Portman and James Franco? Oh that’s right the world were reality TV rules everything, but it’s MTV what do you expect. Anyways, last night at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards a slew of new trailers were released. Among them was J.J. Abram’s Super 8.
We still know nothing about this monster; however, with every new TV spot and trailer we’re getting that much closer to its true form. I still doubt we’ll get to see much before opening night, maybe a footprint or nail if we’re lucky.
This new trailer reveals a lot more than we’ve seen previously. I’m still amazed at how Abrams and the crew are able to keep all this secret. It’s about four days away from the release and we’ve yet to see a leaked photo or still of this monster. That’s pretty amazing if you ask me. Check out the trailer below:

Official Synopsis:
In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.
