Last week, Reel Movie Nation brought you a story about The Avengers Blu-ray and DVD details. Now, thanks to my obsession with superheroes and some late night internet browsing, we have a look at some potential Blu-ray and DVD covers courtesy of Amazon.com.

Out of the four potential movie covers, I definitely love the cover for the 3-D Blu-ray/DVD combo pack the most. I was a big fan of that particular Avengers poster and it only makes sense to use it as the cover. I’m a little less impressed with the other covers. I realize that Marvel wants to have some variations on the Blu-ray covers they release, but I prefer something that doesn’t look like it was made in five minutes on photoshop. The regular DVD cover is not my favorite, but it’s still pretty cool. I like the way it was divided, but I half expected there to be a square in the middle with Anne B. Davis’s face (that’s a Brady Bunch reference for those young readers out there). And where is Agent Coulson? Marvel’s ultimate badass is nowhere to be found on any of the covers! At least let him be in the same pie slice as Nick Fury.
But wait, there’s more!
Last but not least, the rumored Ten-Disc Limited Edition Six-Movie Collector’s Blu-ray Set we’ve been hearing about is real! All we have to show you now is this teaser image from Amazon.com (once again, click to biggify), and from the looks of it all ten discs will be housed inside a case that looks similar to the case used to safely carry the Tesseract (Cosmic Cube). That’s just my thinking, but we will have more concrete details on July 15th when the Limited Edition set is unveiled.
