Two New ‘Breaking Dawn- Part 2′ Photos Surface

Whether or not you’re a fan of the Twilight franchise, we’ve got good news and bad news, or good news all around. I’ll give you Twi-hards the good news first. Two new images have surfaced featuring our Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) standing in front of his signature Volvo. Advertisement to the max! It looks like he’s getting ready for a car commercial. And what’s up the new hairdo? It’s only a shade away from Josh Hutcherson’s awful hair color in The Hunger Games.

The second picture features Bella doing a rather forced over the shoulder pose, while everyone else looks straight on. Perhaps Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders appeared on set to surprise Kristen Stewart… In the photo we get another look at several members from the Amazon and Denali covens. The new pictures are below:

Condon Talks The Running Time and Putting on the Final Touches

Now that the filming has wrapped, Bill Condon and his crew are busy in post-production working on the film’s visual effects… you know, the sparkling, larger-than-life wolves, and Jacob’s abs. Ok, ok, I guess those are real. Here’s what the Academy Award winning director had to say in an interview with MTV:

We’re at the stage of mixing and doing color timing and adding that last big bunch of visual effects shots, and that’s where it gets complicated because the [most challenging] ones always come in last, so it’s just making sure that they look as good as they can, that’s the big thing right now.

The last installment may feature a new addition into the Cullen coven, but her presence won’t grant a longer film. Condon revealed the official runtime yesterday and it’s an hour and fifty-six minutes long. That’s the shortest runtime for a Twilight film to date. Condon’s previous vampire effort, Breaking Dawn – Part 1, ran only a minute longer. Comparing the two films with its predecessors, Eclipse ran two hours and four minutes, New Moon ran two hours and ten minutes, and the film that started it all, Twilight, ran two hours and two minutes. Thanks to Condon, we won’t have to sit through a two hour plus Twilight film. The man knows the importance of time!

Stay tuned for all the latest from the last chapter of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2. This film hits theaters November 16th, 2012.
