‘Breaking Dawn’ At Comic-Con
There was nothing short of excitement as the cast of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 were the first to open the festivities at San Diego’s Comic-Con 2012. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Mackenzie Foy, Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene, and Stephenie Meyer were the first to grace the movie panel in Hall H.
As this is the last Comic-Con for the franchise, devoted fans lined up in anticipation for what would be one memorable afternoon. According to MTV News, Summit Entertainment screened the first 7 minutes of the film, and another clip which showed Bella Swan as a vampire. Meyer also gave fans a sneak peak into her upcoming film, Host. Several sources reported that the event was full of laughter and awe, as the actors began to reveal information into the final chapter.
23 Character Posters
Summit Entertainment released a slew of posters for the last installment of the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn – Part 2. 23 posters to be exact. Talk about a supporting cast! All 23 characters are broken up into seven different covens/clans — The Amazon Coven, American Nomad, The Cullens Coven, The Denali Coven, The Egyptian Coven, The Irish Coven, The Romanian Coven. Several of their powers were revealed in the teaser trailer released back in June.
There are a lot of characters here and lets not forget the involvement of the Volturi. It’ll be interesting to see how director Bill Condon handles the new additions. Hopefully, this one pleases the Twi-hards… if not we could see a reboot sooner than we’d like. And is it just me, or do these characters have really strong facial features.
