‘The Avengers’ Trailer Hits the Web with a Fury!

This morning, (early this morning) Paramount and Marvel Entertainment released the first trailer for their much anticipated team superhero action flick, The Avengers, directed by Joss Whedon.

As one would imagine, there is a lot of hype surrounding this film. Some people are down right giddy over the entire process, while others are holding back their judgments and approaching this film with a bit of caution — as they should.

The trailer for the film looks amazing. There’s little to fault beside the cheap TV music used to back the trailer. Sort of takes away from the epicness of The Avengers. Also it’s easy to see who’ll receive the lime light in this film — Iron Man/ Robert Downey Jr. He’s in just about 80% of the trailer, lets hope that’s all of his scenes.

Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) take the back seat in the trailer (not a surprise there). Black Widow kicks ass all while keeping the sex appeal flowing. Captain America (Chris Evans) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) receive several noticeable additions to their costumes/appearance since their last films.

I’m excited to see what Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Serenity) has in store for us. You can tell that the film was directed by a TV director instead of a film director. The cinematography and visual aesthetics are much lighter than the current action/superhero trend of shadows and dim lighting. However, Marvel chose Whedon, so I’ll join along for the ride.

The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders, and Samuel L. Jackson.  The Avengers hits theaters in 3D on May 4, 2012.

Question: What’s your thoughts on the new trailer? Love it? Hate it? Comment below!

Official Synopsis of ‘The Avengers’:

Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in “Iron Man,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “Iron Man 2,” “Thor,” and “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Marvel’s The Avengers” is the super hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.

Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1963, “Marvel’s The Avengers” brings together the mightiest super hero characters as they all assemble together on screen for the first time.

Its ok but its got to impove some other actor besides Mark Ruffalo because he don’t fit the role as Bruce Banner at all. So Need to be bring back Edward Norton as Bruce Banner instead of Ruffalo repising the role.
