After months of rumors and speculations regarding the cast of Christopher Nolans’ The Dark Knight Rises, Variety reported that Juno Temple is the latest to join Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, and Joseph-Gordon Levitt.
Temple’s film credits include Atonement, The Other Boleyn Girl, and Year One. She’s also been casted in The Three Musketeers (2011), Killer Joe (2011), and A Single Shot (2012).
Now the question on everyone’s mind is exactly which character was Temple casted as? Variety put out an article last week confirming that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was not “The Holiday Killer”, and in that post it also stated:

“Temple is being eyed for a supporting role as a street-smart Gotham girl…”
Many believe this “street-smart Gotham girl” to be Holly Robinson, a young prostitute who lives with Selina Kyle aka Catwoman, which means she may very well be a side-kick or a wanna-be superhero/villain taken under Selina Kyle. Others believe that Temple was cast as female Robin. Personally, I like the first idea better. Also, remember that Gordon-Levitt’s character has also yet to be confirmed.
